Ensuring that an effective audit file review is carried out is essential to delivering a high‑quality audit. This HAT course equips Supervisors, Assistant Managers and above with the skills and confidence needed to perform a robust, timely and insightful review of audit files.

This one‑day course covers:

• An overview of the key elements of audit file review and finalisation procedures
• How to focus a review effectively, including approaches to individual file areas and how to identify audit issues that may have been missed by junior staff
• How to provide constructive feedback to junior staff and document clear review notes
• Liaising with clients and summarising key points for the Responsible Individual (RI)
• Practical tips for managing the review and finalisation process efficiently across audit assignments

The course combines lecture sessions, group discussions, and practical case studies to help delegates apply the concepts in real‑world scenarios and strengthen their review techniques.
