Start your career in Finance – become a Chartered Accountant or Chartered Certified Accountant
Vacancies
Each year, we help recruit school and college leavers join accountancy firms to train them as chartered accountants or chartered certified accountants. One of those places could be yours!
We look for up to 4 AAT/ATT trainees to join HAT firms each year.
There are two intakes each year in January and August, with August being the largest. Most vacancies are in central London, but there are also opportunities in other locations across the UK. See current trainee vacancies for further details.

Why apply to HAT?
We understand that the school and college leavers recruitment process can be arduous and impersonal.
HAT can offer you a different experience. Our Recruitment Associate Director will be your personal guide throughout the application process, ensuring you are matched to the right firm and providing you with interview tips tailored to your strengths and areas for improvement.
An AAT/ATT role offers you the chance to earn, learn and study for a professional qualification with a leading tuition provider, without incurring any student debt. In addition to earning a highly competitive annual salary, you will also attend high quality practical courses, which are written and run by HAT (these are not normally available if you choose to train with a small firm). You will have the benefits of working for a small organisation, which values you as an individual, but with all the training opportunities typically offered by a larger organisation. Many students progress on to the ACA or ACA CTA qualification, so qualifying earlier than their peers who choose to go to university first. You will receive support every step of the way from your training partner, from exam tutors, your colleagues and from the HAT team.
When To apply
We do not operate a fixed closing date; the scheme closes when all of the roles are filled. You can register your interest at any time, ready for the next intake. We will keep you updated when opportunities arise.
How To Apply
Applying is simple. Remember that one application to us means you will be considered for all relevant vacancies within the group.
First, check our current vacancy page and ensure you have our minimum academic criteria for your chosen qualification/position. Then send your CV to anna@hatgroup.co.uk.

If you perform strongly at interview, you will be recommended to those member firms to which we believe you would be best suited. You will then be required to visit them for a second and final interview, so completing the selection procedure.
Please note, we cannot consider your application unless you have the right to work in the UK now and in the future. We also cannot consider any applications from those that have already started their level 3 studies.
