  • General Practitioner Silver package.

WHY? If the partner has acted as R.I. for 10 years or more, the FRC’s Ethical Standard requires safeguards to be implemented to mitigate the long association threat. Having a hot file review (or “Engagement Quality Review”) carried out by an external party is such a safeguard.

  • Has 15 audit clients including two charities as well as two solicitor’s accounts rules assignments and one ATOL assignment

  • Recent regulatory visit was satisfactory but the practice is developing and the partner considers that technical and compliance support is now important
  • The practice is considering introducing a cloud-based platform for audit and non-audit assignments
