Content of Course
This course is designed for any experienced audit staff joining your practice. (New trainees should attend the HAT B Course instead. This course explains how the HAT system approaches an audit under ISA (UK) and covers planning, risk, materiality, tailoring your audit approach and maximising efficiency, before giving a brief overview of the fieldwork stage and then explaining how the assignment should be finalised.
This course should be attended regardless of whether your firm uses the HAT Manual in paper form or within CaseWare. Attendees from firms using CaseWare are also provided with access to a range of online training resources covering the basics of CaseWare Working Papers.
Please note that it is mandatory under Audit Regulations for new staff to be properly inducted into the audit system used.
