Our technical helpline is a dedicated service for members’ audit and accountancy enquires.

Our helpline team has a wealth of experience across a wide range of areas including how to make certain disclosures, or what wording to use to modify an audit opinion or generally how to cope with FRS 102 (including Section 1A).


We provide over 3000 solutions to our members’ queries every year and are able to answer your questions quickly and accurately saving you hassle and time.

We can answer queries on company law, ethics and money laundering, and have specialist sector knowledge on charities, pensions and academies.

Please note that we don’t deal with technical tax issues and cannot provide legal advice.

The helpline is normally open Monday to Friday between 9am and 5pm, and we aim to provide an immediate answer. If further research is needed, it will be undertaken by one of our experts in the topic.
