Roger is an experienced reviewer who undertakes EQRs on several high risk / listed assignments each year as well as conducting audit quality control reviews at our larger firms. Roger is respected for his detailed methodical approach.

Roles and Responsibilities

Roger’s major areas of responsibility are:

  • Writing HAT’s Manuals and newsletters covering Gibraltar
  • Editorship of HAT’s specialist area Newsletters
  • Carrying out quality control file reviews
  • Undertaking EQRs on high risk and listed clients
  • QAD and Practice Assurance support
  • Dealing with HAT’s internal technical and office administrative matters

Roger graduated from the University of Kent in 1992 with a degree in Mathematics and Economics. He qualified first time as a Chartered Accountant with Wilson Green (now Simmons Gainsford). After qualifying, Roger worked for a number of firms before becoming resident R.I. in Rickard Luckin’s Rayleigh office in 2002. He joined HAT in July 2004 and became a Director in July 2007.

Roger’s hobbies include spending time, and travelling with his family, following Southampton Football Club home and away throughout the country, and he enjoys experimenting with new recipes in the kitchen.
