Emily’s areas of responsibility include:
- Client communication
- Streamlining administration and business operations
- Training and event management
- Supporting the recruitment and development of new students
Having recently left university, Emily can relate to the students transitioning from academic life into a professional environment. This has helped her support them with empathy, encouragement, and a genuine understanding of their experiences. Furthermore, Emily’s role as a Peer Assistant Leader (PAL) at her university developed her teamwork skills through providing tutoring and emotional support to new students. This experience taught Emily when to step up and take initiative, but also when to listen to others’ advice and value different perspectives. These experiences have shaped the way she works today: open-minded, reflective, and always willing to learn.
In 2025, Emily graduated with a Second Class, first division from the University of Bath. Her role as a Peer Assisted Leader was recognised when her team received the Peer Support Team of the Year Award. Before joining, Emily worked in consumer-facing roles, including retail and as an art instructor. In her spare time, Emily enjoys reading, travelling with friends, and walking her dog.
