Roles and Responsibilities
Andrew divides his time between setting HAT’s strategy and working with the team to deliver this and working directly with key clients. This includes:
- Responsibility for the HAT team and key partnerships
- Supporting clients with key compliance matters, including ISQM 1
- Editing our specialist methodologies, including for charities and pensions
- Lecturing on a range of topics including charities and Solicitors Accounts Rules
Andrew enjoys using his experience to provide practical advice to ensure firms can comply effectively with the wide range of regulations which apply to accountancy firms.
Andrew joined HAT back in 2005 having previously trained with a HAT client and then worked for a top ten firm. In his time with HAT, he has worked in virtually all areas of the business from trainee courses to working on our helpline. Andrew became Managing Director in 2020.
Outside of work, Andrew enjoys spending time with his teenage children and travelling.
