Kaplan Courses – HAT’s Advice to Students

As you may be aware, all ICAEW, AAT, CTA and ATT exams are currently suspended. We understand the ICAEW Advanced Stage sitting in July has been postponed until the end of August and the June sitting of the Professional Stage has been cancelled. (It is expected that the next Professional Stage sitting will be September). We understand the ACCA have not yet made any decision to postpone their exams.

We understand this is a worrying time for students and Kaplan are working hard to deal with questions and amend plans to reflect the delays and cancellations above.

However, after discussions with Kaplan on Friday, we are advising that all students scheduled to attend  courses over the next few weeks do so as planned (albeit online). The Knowledge and Practical Application phases of tuition scheduled over the coming weeks will still be relevant to the final exam, although we do expect the revision (‘Exam Preparation’) phase of courses to be postponed, where possible to a date closer to the exams. Kaplan are also looking at what additional study support may be necessary for students who have had exams deferred.

Further details are available from Kaplan
