Evolution, not revolution…

We are happy to share with you our new website and our updated branding identity.

A long time in the making, we feel that our updated identity is a step in the right direction. Whilst retaining a sense of the traditional, reflecting the 40-plus years that HAT have supported accountants in practice, we have made some changes to freshen up our image. Think of it as evolution rather than revolution.

We have modernised the font used in our main logo and added a second colour which highlights the equals sign in the A of HAT. We now have a strap line: “Making accountants count”. We have looked at our core service areas of Compliance, Recruitment, Technical, Consultancy and Training and have created different colour pallets for these.

Our new website embraces the branding update and works across all platforms (desktop, tablet and mobile). We will make use of blogs for the first time – we will post regular updates on things we are working on and things we think you should know about. The posts won’t always be technical – we need to do our bit to change the view that accountants are boring!

We will be rolling out the new branding over the coming weeks, which will encompass all outward facing media (letterheads, email footers, file review documents, quarterly meeting notes, CPD material etc). You may have already seen our new-look newsletter.

Of course, regardless of whether you are a senior partner or trainee, we are still committed to providing the friendly, professional advice and help you have come to expect. We’re still here at the end of the phone or you can come in to see our refurbished offices and meet us face to face (although do call to arrange this first so we can make sure we’re available).

We feel that we have evolved the HAT brand – we are not looking to change the way we do things, we are just looking to present ourselves in a more clear and more modern way. We hope to continue making accountants count over the coming weeks, months and years.
