Content of Course

The SRA is preparing to introduce significant changes to the SRA Accounts Rules and to the role of Reporting Accountants, following a number of interventions in firms over recent years. This update explores the proposed changes, their practical impact on assignments, and how firms should adapt their approach both now and in preparation for the new requirements.

Drawing on our experience working with member firms and reviewing SRA assignments, this session provides practical insight into:

  • The key requirements of the current SRA Accounts Rules and how to approach them effectively on assignments
  • The SRA’s proposed amendments to the Rules and the reasons driving these changes
  • The main risks associated with SRA assignments and effective strategies for managing them
  • Common areas of misunderstanding, weak documentation and frequent review findings

This webinar provides 90 minutes of verifiable CPD, and a recording will be made available to all attendees after the event.
